The energy, shapes and colours from his many travels have caught the eye of Markham artist/photographer George Huff. Strong elements of composition and design are evident in both his paintings and photographs.
George mainly works in the studio from scenes he has photographed, but has also painted ‘en plein air’ in Tuscany and in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. He has travelled to and photographed on all six continents and Antarctica. His style is impressionistic and often includes buildings. Scenes from Ireland, Scotland, Italy, the Orient, the icy Antarctic and rural Canada are represented in his work.
