Stephanie is an established multi-Disciplinary visual artist with over 40 years of experience, in portrait and figurative painting.
She is a member of the Portrait Society of Canada, Ontario Society of Artists, and the Society of Canadian Artists, and has over 25 years’ experience teaching visual arts.
Her ability as a multi- disciplinary artist enables her to focus more on leading and fostering students, whether privately or as groups, towards imagination & self -expression in her workshops.
The Contemporary Portrait
Taking Students outside of the traditional portraiture box, and discovering a colourful, expressive, and efficient way to create a different kind of portrait. Using an array of materials from paint to drawing tools, from patterns to line, while learning to successfully work from a photograph and/or a Mirror!
No previous portrait drawing or painting is required.

I do insist on Artist Quality paints, as lesser quality do not achieve lush skin tones. Good Quality LONG HANDLED bristle or synthetic brushes as well.
