Artwork Description
I am inspired by the snowy landscapes of our Canadian winters, a season of minimal visual noise, a season of pause. My passion is in creating winter scenes that bring this sense of serenity to others for a few moments in our otherwise hectic lives. I love working with the variables of acrylic mediums to sculpt, shape and create texture on canvas. In my Winter’s Breath series, I have done this by working with three pigments in the monochromatic scale.
