Artwork Description
Back in my studio, I used my plein air watercolour as a reference to paint this larger acrylic work. I wanted to convey the delicacy and transparency of the poppies , so I had fun hand-painting them on tissue paper then collaging them over the acrylics. This painting is now available through kingstgallery.com.
