The village of Whitevale has a beautiful historical and natural landscape, with heritage building, hiking trails, and a rural feeling, despite being close to major towns like Markham and Pickering. After sketching one of its lovely houses, I took a walk around the side and back streets to discover picturesque yards and gardens, including this charming sunny yellow converted bicycle full of flowers leaning against a fence of one of the homes.
