Artwork Description
I created this piece with Elliot, @youthamplifier_101, who plays on the "Mixed Abilities" Oshawa Vikings Rugby team. This painting, titled "Perseverance," tells the story of inclusion, mixed emotion, pride and joy - of the teams made up of individuals with a mix of abilities and experience levels in sports. I painted 25 rugby players, and together, Elliot and I painted the Canadian flag and radiating leaves at the Boyton House during our MGA show: VIEWPOINTS. The piece has sold. It was auctioned off at the teams clubhouse, with the proceeds funding the trip to Spain to compete in the World Cup of Mixed Abilities.
