Compositionally a successful, effervescent work. Our eyes enter from the bottom and ebulliently drift up to the top left. Ever-changing as the light dances across the surface of the painting. On first blush, this work functions as a formalist abstract and gradually reveals its subject matter. This is a very sensory piece, evoking sound and touch—I can feel many senses.
