The calm and peaceful garden in front of a home on the Uxbridge Garden Tour, sketched on site but painted in the studio as rain fell most of the day. However, it did not stop the gardeners from touring.

The rich, layered washes of geometric forms and stylized shapes reimagines a lush garden into a contemporary and rhythmic design. This unique technique adds depth and movement, while carefully placed contrasts enhance the balance between abstraction and representation. A wonderful example of the artist’s masterful control of the medium.
