Ray On Glacier Mountain is an acrylic painting inspired by a photo taken during my holiday in Iceland. It depicts a ray of light breaking through a dark sky, illuminating the glacier and mountain. I used a palette knife to create texture, conveying the rugged surfaces and movement in the sky while maintaining the light's glow on the glacier. This 24x18 inch piece is part of my Iceland series, reflecting my exploration of natural scenes with dramatic light. It aims to evoke awe and peace, best appreciated in intimate settings for its detailed textures. Ray On Glacier Mountain captures the rare beauty of fleeting moments and the interplay between light and landscape.
