Plein Air 2025 Season
Every Wednesday morning from 9:30am to 12:30pm
Bring your preferred art supplies and a folding chair if you like to sit.

September 3rd - Holiday
September 10th - the garden behind the Mckay Art Centre (197 Main Street) in Unionville (with a model). Note Main Street, Unionville is closed. Parking is available in the laneway behind the McKay Art Centre.
September 17th - McMichael Gallery, 10365 Islington Ave., Kleinburg ON - en Plein air competition runs until September 29th. Paid parking, unless you are a member. Or you can paint in the town of Kleinburg.
September 24th - Guild Park and Gardens (Guild Inn Estate), 201 Guildwood Parkway, Scarborough, ON
October 1st - Train Station in Uxbridge. 19 Railway St, Uxbridge, ON L9P 1E5 The Uxbridge station in Ontario is a historic 1904 building, now a designated Ontario Heritage site. There are several old trains and buildings to paint as well as the town with clock tower and Roxy Theatre.
Tuesday October 7th Please note the Tuesday instead of Wednesday date Karen Doran’s property. 3120 Highway7A, Blackstock ON Sugar maple trees line a long driveway leading to a stone century home and barns.
Wednesday October 15th The historic neighborhood of MGA member Donna Metcalf. 72 First Ave, Uxbridge.

Notes:
- All sites have public washrooms, unless otherwise noted
- Time: 10 am to 1:30 pm
- Bring a lunch. Lunch together at 12:30 to 1:30 pm to show and share your creativity and ideas
- Bring whatever art supplies you need to sketch or paint in the medium of your choice. Only exception is to the ROM.
- You are welcome to bring a friend (non-members welcome)
- We’ll meet between 10 and 10:10 am at the designated spot for each painting session. For those arriving late, please set up, paint/sketch and we’ll all join for lunch at the designated spot for that painting session.
- Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens information: After exploring the gardens, head southeast along the paved road (Alexander Muir Road) until you reach the place where the parking lot gives way to a wooded trail. Follow that trail, heading generally south and east, until you reach Bayview Avenue. Walk south on Bayview until you reach Eglington Avenue East, where you can take the 34, 54 or 56A buses to get back to Eglinton Station.
