In this exhibition, we invite artists to explore the multifaceted nature of their personal perspective and offer their insights into the complexities of the human experience and the diverse viewpoints that shape our world. Whether through realism, abstraction, fantasy or somewhere in between, each piece in this show will illuminate the power of perspective to both reflect and transform reality.

Jurors Comments
I am honored to be invited as juror for this year’s Viewpoints 2024 juried art show showcasing artists and arts enthusiasts in the Markham vicinity. The sheer volume of quality production submitted for consideration commented on the visionary breadth and creative vitality among the Markham Group of Artists. Distilling the submissions to form a well-balanced and dynamic exhibition was a process that elicited contemplation and exuberance throughout the adjudication process. The works of artists chosen demonstrates a broad gamut of material, experimental and conceptual range. Albeit diverse, each of the short-listed works share a formal rigor and artistic sincerity reserved for the finest examples of cultural production. The cultural and material diversity of the area is reflected in this exhibition. My felicitations go to all the artists who submitted work to the 2024 edition of the annual juried exhibition. Congratulations!
